CALLIOPE is a neighborhood bistro serving European farmhouse food, indoors and in our large sidewalk cafe, in New York City's East Village. The menu is served a la carte and we strive to provide the most seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients available. We are thrilled to have an ever-growing local community of farmers and fisherman that supply Calliope with amazing food. The overwhelming majority of our wines are natural, biodynamic and under 2000 case production.
In our main dining room, we have a beautiful table that seats up to 20 people. It is perfect for celebrations, wine dinners, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, business lunches and dinners, and for any other large gathering.
A note on bringing your own wine: Calliope charges a $25 corkage fee per each outside bottle of wine brought in to the restaurant. This fee will be waived on a one-to-one basis for every bottle you buy from our list.
